It conjures up so many thoughts, emotions and memories. It is the oil for ALL female qualities and conditions, it is the most incredible oil for celebration, love and romance and it is the ultimate, exquisite and most delicious perfume! Here's the low down on why we are beside ourselves!
Rose was one of the first flowers from which an essential oil was ever distilled way back in the tenth century.
It is highly revered and is used in many traditions around the world.
You only have to think of Cleopatra to know how much she revelled in this exquisite flower. To lull Mark Antony she had her ship rubbed down in rose wax, the sails dipped in rosewater… you don’t suppose he smelt her coming down the Nile! Not to mention the hundreds of rose petals strewn across their bed and room – this is indeed the flower for romance!
Because Rose is known as the ‘Queen of Flowers’, it is also thought of as the queen among essential oils. Over time it has been used to treat many disorders of the female reproductive system.
Many essential oils have an affinity for a particular part of the body and it is not surprising that Rose has a particular preference and affinity with the uterus. It is cleansing, purifying, regulating, alluring, enchanting, indulging and nurturing.
Rose is a gentle but potent antidepressant. It has long been renowned as an aphrodisiac. In skincare it is especially valuable for dry, sensitive or ageing skin. It has a tonic and astringent effect on capillaries and on the circulation in general.
Consider Rose one of the most precious oils in more ways than one: it carries an expensive price tag due to the high quantity of rose petals needed to extract a tiny amount of the oil and the very high labour costs involved in its extraction. But then only very little is needed to treat a mental, emotional or physical condition. It is one of the most amazing, beautiful and exquisite aromas you will ever smell…
The perfume industry uses more than the world’s annual production of Rose oil… so where does the rest come from? It is unfortunately quite difficult to detect adulterated Rose Oil, even with gas chromospectography. Perhaps the best guide is your own nose.
It may seem highly priced to invest in at first but because very little is needed to be used for its perfume and healing effects, there is no doubt your oil will last a long time. Compare it to the price of a highly sought after perfume and you will see its value.

We are incredibly excited to announce our beautiful Rose Oil is here! We decided not to sell a 10ml bottle filled with 100% Rose Oil but to dilute it into the exquisite, high quality, fluid wax Jojoba Oil to make it much more accessible. This by no means diminishes its quality. Most companies will dilute Rose Oil into a 2.5% dilution but we have decided to increase its potency into a 10% dilution making it even more desirable and available. This means you can wear our Rose Oil directly onto the skin, or you can add a drop into your moisturiser to enhance the amazing nourishing qualities. You can add a drop to a muscle blend or hormone blend to help with cramping. A drop of this Rose Oil can be added to your daily body boost to enhance confidence, self-esteem and self-love. But our most favourite way to wear this particular Rose Oil is a drop or two directly onto the perfume points. We can assure you this is the most incredible aroma you will ever wear!
